About
I didn’t plan to become a retoucher. I started in photography — working on set, understanding light, working with people. Over time, I realized that what interested me most wasn’t capturing the image, but refining it. My background in graphic design shaped the way I see images: composition, color, and balance are not separate elements, but part of one system. Retouching naturally became my focus. Early on, I worked across different types of retouching. That experience taught me not just technique, but something more important — how differently people define a “good” image. Today, my work is focused on fashion and commercial photography. I approach retouching with precision and restraint, preserving natural texture, light, and the integrity of the original shot. I work closely with photographers, often as part of an extended production process — not just refining images, but supporting the visual direction behind them. With over 15 years of experience, I rely on observation, consistency, and the ability to make the right decisions quickly and accurately. For me, retouching is not about tools. It’s about judgment.
